Ibm forced the unbundlino harder and softwer. That is what led to the explosion of softwer and basically the ability to have even the personal computer industry. I think that without that require unbundling, or push on bundlin, this would not have happened,. So his defence is, if ibm c, that was its advantage, they would have done it.
