A fossil is only found, not only if it's lucky enough to be fossilized at all, but only when somebody just happens to come along. The deposits are three million years old, and they all spread out on the ground. You just walk around on the ground very carefully until you see something,. And if you find something, an interesting bone, you then get a little dental tool and scrub round it to exposes a bit. And then what you do was cover it with this glue, this hardening agent. But another thing is, when a fossil as been interned in the earth, the earth is a stable environment, but when it comes into the atmosphere, it dries out
