Miss Wilmot's Ghosts, the Extraordinary Life and Gardens of a Forgotten Genius
Miss wilmot has quite a chequered reputation these days, and it's not necessarily because of anything she did. She had the typical girl's education, which in victorian times was really just a way of getting a husband. The rumour has it that she would carry seeds of this plant in pockets for scattering in other people's gardens when they weren't looking. And we recently discovered a plant list from teen o eight, which tells us that she had ten thousand varieties,. different varieties of plants in that garden in 19 o eight.
