The Importance of Institutional Economics in the Making of Choices
Economics gives us this frame where we can understand how it is that if you take a group of people and you add a bunch of extra burdens on to them. Lhike: It's so important to bring the economic framework into these conversations, not just any economic framework, but frameworks that really hilate the importance of the institutional context within which we are making these choices. If you lack those kind of market feedback mechanisms, um then you're not going to get, like, women's ambitions being translated into the height of the heights of what women can achieve," she says.
