We communicate from our ingestion system to the clients when they're out of quota. The message really that we want to tell to the client is, until that point in time comes where quota is available, don't even try to hold on to those messages for the way. That was an SDK that didn't uphold this contract. It was basically retrying. Eventually, everything was days old because we had all of those devices with the local buffers trying to send age-old event data.
