In the book, they talk about how shame actually has three curious paradoxes. And there are ways you can approach the work practically in order to alleviate some of the emotional baggage that you're carrying into it. But I'm going to clarify that you don't need to know how long the task is going to take. We want to be proud that you know yourself so well, that you know how to do your best work. It doesn't matter what everybody else is doing or what they need. The acceptance allows you to release this pressure and move on through the day.
