The Economic Bill of Rights

The New Deal represented a realignment in American politics. It was the first time that the government really understood its central purposes ensuring the economic security of all Americans. FDR pushed for an economic bill of rights at the end of World War II during his administration. He says things have changed dramatically since the founding of the country and we need a new economic bill of Rights.
