The UK government is really sort of foregrounded on whether to use hydrogen for heating. I think there's a lot of companies that have a vested interest in that happening and it may be that that does end up being part of the way we clean up our heating right? The alternative of electrification using heat pumps and things like and heat networks in cities is just so much more attractive for you, he says. He adds: "I can go and get a heat pump in my home tomorrow and I've got electricity to supply it"
