The Future of Dialysis

A lot of hospitals have policies that really restrict the usage of dialysis lines for other purposes. Do you care if somebody uses a temporary dialysis catheter to infuse something or a draw blood? I wouldn't use it on a regular basis, right? Just because the more times you access a line, the more likely it is to become infected.
