Sam Terry Vanished Before His Trial Date and Was Never Seen Again
While out on Bond during the appeals phase of his trials, he moved into the top floor of a Baldwin motel. Rumors spread that he had put sheets of lead between the mattresses of his bed because he feared someone would try to kill him with x-rays. Marion NSS was also sued by a former customer of his bank because he loaned this guy $50. He ended up having this guy pay like $550 on a $50 loan. One of Marion NSS's associates, named Eva Sloane, actually had this man sue Stembridge in small claims court. And the man won in Stembridge had to pay the full amount back and blamed it on Marion
