Acute Behavioural Disorder - What Are the Signs and Symptoms?
There is an awesome guideline on acute behavioural disturbance by RCEM. And that does tell us or give us some guidance as to the sorts of signs which may be present and can potentially be identified prior to us getting any clinical monitoring on these patients. So, it's how the patient's behaving, how they're acting in terms of strength or non-compliance or imperviousness to pain. And then finally, around what they look like clinically, but without that monitoring on. So, are they hot to touch sweating, rapid breathing and tachycardia? That list of signs and symptoms is so non-specific, isn't it? It perfectly encapsulates how difficult this condition is to identify
