Sindhuja: The land around here is slowly sinking a process known as subsidence. In less than a hundred years it's dropped eight and a half meters. Subsidence is one of the things that's happening because of not just deep wells but prolific well pumping which you know has happened during the drought period. Sindhuja: Just because we have a good wet year subsidence won't go away.
