We've got leaking pipes and the prospect of drought, this is really an outrage so to sort of blame people for complaining just doesn't seem fair she adds. Jill O'Brien: Britain is the only country to privatize its water system. Other countries have sometimes given control to private companies on long-term contracts or done quasi-subarms links bodies but no one has wholesale given all the water infrastructure to private companies.
