Class a air space is not anywhere around an airport. It's any air space between 18 thousand feet and 60 thousand feet above sea level. Your plane has to be i f r rated to enter that airspace, so you have to have like, an instrument rating. You can think ofal udes in two separate ways. There is your altitude above sea level, and there's also your altitude above the ground yeo,. Thet maksens are totally dfferent thing. For people who keep up with the weather, watch the tin abkounts!
