There is some room for system two and our cognitive capabilities to overcome that first initial unconscious response. In a substantial subset of people, I don't know, maybe 50% or so, there's activation of what is called the frontal cortex. Who are the ones who activate their frontal cortex two seconds after having an implicit racial bias? People who categorize themselves as liberals. Two seconds later, they're not finding anything wrong if that was this response.
