Nietzsche's Respect for Buddhism
Buddhism is not a comprehensive whole in so many ways, nor is Hinduism, right? And we don't know exactly which glimpses of it. Nietzsche was able to see and there are varying traditions in Buddhism that I actually think really do differ in their view towards life itself,. In the present life and that orientation. So how much of that he would have known about or been able to wrestle with is really hard to establish. But I do think that what's interesting is that like he is treating Buddhism seriously, right? He is taking it very seriously as something to be wrestling with.
