The Last Supper
The word supper wasn't very unfamiliar when i was growing up. The normal word for the big meal of the day, which happened around five o'clock, was dinner. Supper has always had this kind ofw asociated with endings. You generally have a need for another light repast before bed, unless you really wanted to.
