Parenting the Way You Were Parented
How many of us parent the way that we were parented? Ah, and how hard it is to break free of that. A so much of the parenting that i was raised in is rooted in fear for how the world will treat the black child. Harsh at home so that you can be safe in the world is not something that only i experienced. There are children who are experiencing that to day.
