This basically enhances our understanding of a very mysterious planet in many ways compared to Earth at least. When I started out as an undergrad, I did some research with the Indian Space Agency way back when in like 2014. So it was very fascinated by this iron sulfate mineral that we call an indicator mineral. We have these analog sites on Earth. Since not all of us can go to Mars and study the surface of Mars, it is just a few rovers that go there. How do we understand a lot about these worlds? Do we go to Mars analog sites?
