Abraham's Dream Come True
The amorites haven't yet made up their minds fully. Only then will god's promised people come in to possess their promised land. It's amazing to see the long suffering of god, even as it entailed the longsuffering of israel. I think it tells us something that just as the blessings are not outside the confines of covenant, there may be all kinds of obstacles along the way before you get there. So abraham, follow the straight and narrow stay within it. Don't lose patience, and don't lose hope or faith. Just keep on following me. I promise the blessings will eventually come."
