The Creative Process
I would say it's the most American thing about you. You have been quite prolific since you started making albums. What do you think about when you're thinking about a new album? Is it I want to pursue this angle or this one piece feels unfinished and I want to iterate on it or scratch it all and do something different? Everything is sort of a question of taste really, whether it's fashion or music or anything. One absorbs the world around you and it's very informed by things that one's listened to or experienced and then it goes through you and it comes out.
