Did Mars Have Life?

We have never visited anything like these chloride ponds on mars. They're a type of landing site that has so far been unexplored by rovers. We still haven't gotten all the pieces yet, and that's why we need to keep exploring. Why is mars able to host liquid water at all? It gets forty % of the amount of sunlight of earth. Its menianial temperature is below freezing. There is some mechanism of production of greenhouse gases or the way that clouds work on mars that we actually don't fully understand.
