Open Cog Engine

I'm working with my friend Rachel St. Clair on an open cog chip, which is a new chip design that's optimized for machine reasoning and open cog based AI rather than for neural networks. And we're probably a year away from having a really scalable version of open cog engine that can work at the scale that large language models do. So I think you get more agility from having this decentralized ecosystem, a bunch of little entities that are operating with interoperable open source code bases. On the other hand, it also creates some overhead and frustration and that you're still running around raising money to maintain the business models in the ecosystem.
