Charles Threw a Knife, Which Sunk Into Clara's Back
Clara ward got hold of a rifle while she and charles were upstairs. She tried to run away, but charles claims that he threw a knife which sunk into clara's back. Supposedly, charles pulled out the knife and went downstairs for a band aid. But when he came back, clara was trying to call the police. R once charles woke up, he and caroline looked through the newspapers and read stories about the only murders that had been thus far discovered,. They then cut out the articles and pictures of themselves as keepsakes.
