PCR for Whole Leaf Hops

In the first trial, I wanted to learn a little bit more about whole leaf hops. The ELISA test worked very well; it detected the hazelnut dust spike. But the PCR results showed sort of a weak positive and two out of the seven unadulterated whole leaf hops samples. That was very interesting because it was a true signal, but it was very, very late in the sequencing run. So I wasn't quite sure what was going on there. And maybe it could be a sign of contamination from the hop harvesting or dust or something like that. so I wanted to look more into that.
