The Importance of Predicting Behavior

Kelsey: We model each self individually in our minds, but there's probably like a nested hierarchy of expectation. And maybe the words we have for traits help us do that in language to explain how we group people in the kinds of actions they're going to take. So it was just cool to see this kind of updated version of testing something like that. The social realm is just another realm where predictions happen. It just happens that the person that you're interacting with also has predictions, which make it a bit more complicated.
