i agree with both nikilla and wendy, i suppose. Democracy arforms that are read as procedure do not have a ito real history of success on their own terms. The only way successfully to alter that is to somehow link democracy to material conditions. To make that claim you're probably going to need institutional bases that speak to people's every day, material lives.
