We're seeing how common a sense of common belonging and purpose within the church is binding a christians to ukranians. There are reports of russan soldiers refusing a to go into battle, sabothaging even their own equipment. And i think it's something that a lot of folks have not understood about sort of our american response to it,. The church's response to it, and that common brotherhood that you see when you see the church at its best isn't an American church, it's just the Ukranian church.
