When asking saints, likh those on earth to pray for you. It often feels like i'm going behind god's back, like he would ordinarily say no. So ask mary, cause it would be harder to say no to her. Or ask friends, family, cause maybe their prayers slash, here we go, more prayers will be more effective. Not the same, but similar to asking a certain parent, cause they 're more likely to say yes.
