Theology Is Still a Mainstay of Horror Films

In the extremely popular genre of horror films it's really odd to me that sacraments, that Christianity, that the divine is clearly still taken very sincerely as something where you enter into. So I think there is a deep hunger and a deep intuition that there are levels to reality that are unseen but no less real because of it. Catholicism especially gives us tangible tactile ways of being in literally in touch with the divine in a way you could say it's almost primordial.
