The Dark Side of Humanity
Do humanists acknowledge the dark side of humanity? History has shown us human beings capacity for extreme evil. One would be foolish if one didn't acknowledge it, he says. There's an interesting speech given by Himmler in the Second World War. In his own grotesque way, Himmler is acknowledging there the fact that those kinds of atrocities go against something deep in human beings.
