After his medical career, he went on to work in the emergency department of a Phoenix hospital. He also started an urgent care business that grew to 60 centers and about 100 million dollars over 17 years. His company MMD was a virtual medicine company sold to Walmart last year. "I think I've started 15 businesses and had, I think, 12 exits in three decades," says Dr. Aaron Carroll.
