Popus: The depth of a theory has something to do with simplicity and richness. Rich means that the content of the explanation has an effect on far reaching subjects, on distant subjects. What happenes in physics absolutely has consequences for chemistry, but also aviation, computing, etcetera. Physics has maximal rech. Mathomatics sometimes has rech. Sometimes a particular theorum has nothing to do with the physical world. philosophy, likewise. Sometimes it's a little bit more parochial. Anyways, what popus says about depth is that he can not define, ine or restrict what he means.
