Can Hypnopompic Hallucinations Cause Sleep Paralysis?

Some researchers have found a common root or place in the brain that's common in people that suffer from these hypnopompic hallucinations. They found that it could just be that you have a really vivid imagination. Trauma can affect dreams quite badly as well. It's not a case of eating cheese before bed, I think that's the only thing we can rule out.
