State and Community Colleges - Is That Correct?
Cost of educating students at public and, especialy community colleges has not gone up am meaningfully. It's more that we swapped in student debt in place of state funding and pel grants to pay for students to go to those schools. The reasons are kind of complicated. A big one is that states regulate how much their public colleges and community colleges can charge intuition. The other reason is student loans. For a for undergrads, they're capped. Now we can argue about what the caps should bein- but really it's four profit colleges that drove up debt. And then the one exception at night is the one that i stay up worrying about a lot on masters
