The History of the Toulouse-Lautrec Crusade
The Albingenzian Crusades were a power play by the church and northern counties to weaken southern France. The Toulouse-Lautrec descendants of Baudouin lived on with minor, more ceremonial titles that came with wealth. At the end of the 13th century, the family acquired the estates of Monfa which they officially added to their surname in the 15th century.
