The Reverse Engineering of a New Asic Chip
Thetheyd used a power analysis in order to reverse engineer custom instructions on a new asic that was being droped. They were able to identify like the a l u and the the shift operations and stuff like that, just by looking at the power signatures. And they came up with a really amazing systemthat i have never seen anybody else do like it.
