Cryptocurrency - Is the USDC Onboard?
The USDC was added to maker.DAW as a way of plugging a hole where there were not enough people willing to mint die after the crypto crash in March 2020. It wasn't necessarily our first choice of collateral assets, but it was an important way that we could protect vault holders from getting washed out on deleveraging spiral. I think it's been a net positive for crypto broadly that the USDC is having success and that they're generally aligned with the broader ecosystem. But we'll see how that develops.
