What Are the Lessons You Can Take Away From Cardinal Pell?
Cardinal Pell was always an advocate for the voice of the church in the public square. There wasn't a topic really that he wouldn't touch, whether it was everything from climate change to bioetically choose what was happening in the church. He would always say that to fight and lose is one thing, but to never put up a fight is a disgrace. Even if you know the cultures against you, the laws are against you, that's no excuse not to fight. You keep standing up. And if they knock you down, you get back up again and keep fighting.
