Taxes Aren't as Simple as Politicians Want to Admit
Politicians are perfectly well aware that they have no control over who ultimately pays attacks. They make use of this by saying all sorts of things like elect me and I'll force those rich people over there to pay for your education, knowing full well that what actually is going to come down the pike at the end may be you paying for your education. We've reached a point here where politicians just won't raise taxes anymore. It's much easier just to borrow. And what does that mean? That means the future generations are going to have to pay.
