Games do make you smarter, correct? And gamers are more intelligent than other people, right? If you need to like answer in code to say, just say something like, no, not really, or well, it's complicated. So how so? Or let me ask, how did you get into studying this topic of what effects video games do have on our cognitive abilities and skills? Sure. To some extent, it was serendipity. I joined a lab at the University of Rochester. It's where I did my bachelor's and PhD. The model that they were using was congenital deafness.
