The Politics of Social Care Reform
Both parties theoretically want it, sometimes come up with a proposition. Yet there's a whole range of people who ache for this national care service. About half of the money in social care is actually spent on people with long term disabilities over the course of their life. The system needs an awful lot more because of demographic change. And it also is just massively under delivering on the promises that are meant to be there in the system.
