How to Write a Great First Draft
I pride myself in putting together a pretty, a pretty good first draught. So i kind of edit as i go, i suppose a bit. The best advice i was ever given is to just write a terrible first draft. Get the first draft down and then make the second draft fabulous. I've written a lot of books in my dressing room on eye pads and laptops. And i tend to do it kind of widley. When i first started, i used i always wrote a night. But now i tend to get up and just make a coffee and go straight to my desk.
