Architecture's one of those weird disciplines that is always being predicated on its relationship to language. And atually most architects a terrible, right, alowsy writers. But i found that they were generally best talking about their lives rather than their projects. I think the idea of the project is another kind of tyranny, both in art and architecture. It's what i quite like. The sort of cliche of, tellmge about your motheris rigt to try and understand ethew,. how that might unlock readings or understandings of a subsequent body of work.
