And yet, once again, anyone who has caught in his wake continues to be contaminated by the political toxin that flows from his premiership. Now the BBC, it's bored and Richard Sharp. The chairman was a Conservative party donor and is now linked with creating a credit facility of £800,000 - an enormous amount of money around the time of the chairman's appointment. There is a former Conservative communications director, or Theresa May's communications director, on the BBC board.
