The Book of Chronicles
Chronicles is a work of revisionist history authored after the Babylonian captivity, likely during the Persian period from 538 to 322 BCE. Chronicles celebrates the Temple and career of King Solomon with a confidence and zeal not present in earlier books. Because Chronicles focuses on Judah, it is able to spend far more time on the central story of the historical books.
