The Role of Resources in a Government

Political scientists and economists agree on the importance of resources in a government. Some people argue that having resources that are really concentrated can engender more authoritarian and maybe unstable leadership. The argument for norway sometimes is like, well, norway was a democracy first, and then got super rich. But if you think about the gulf, they're super rich, but by the way, who counts as a citizen is like ten % of the country.
