Natural Assets - Are They a Good Asset Class?
The town of gibson's on the sunshine coast in b c. adopted an asset management plan that explicitly recognizes natural assets alongside traditional capital assets like highways and bridges. The city of saskatoon has applied, or is in the process of applying, to the recently announced new 200 million dollar natural infra structure fund. And that's the first of its kind federal programm aimed at supporting infra structure projects that use natural or highbrid approaches.
