SZA uses accented melody notes where there's sort of these high notes that come in and say, this is important. And I think as listeners, we feel a sort of intimacy with SZA when we hear that. In the choruses of certain songs, it can be really hard to get your bearings because she doesn't give you any clear repetition. So it's just the words I want to do it to you, but happening all over the place in different ways, different times.
