Paul had never ministered to these individuals before. This is kind of a blind contact as it were. He knew about what those saints were doing in Rome, and he had never personally met most of them. The manual with Come Follow Me hits right on that Paul is wanting to emphasize you're doing good things. Don't be discouraged. We might start to read through here and say, oh, I'm doing so terribly, but we need to go back and think of those words "saints"
